CS:GO Team Roles
CS:GO Team Roles
CS:GO, like any team game, is not without some roles. In this article, we will tell you about the main roles and their features. Also, you will understand how to distribute these roles in CS:GO.
In-game leader (CS:GO roles)
In-game leader is a player, who is responsible for tactics, strategy and targeting in the match conditions. He can decide where to play, how to attack and defend and when to use tactics.
In-game leader’s tasks also include working with the team and determining the best playing positions for each player based on their individual skills. He must be able to motivate his team in times of trouble and set up his players to win.
The role of the AWPer (roles in CS:GO)
The AWPer is the player who uses the AWP (sniper rifle) in the game. He must be accurate and fast in his shots, operate the weapon accurately and know how to choose his angles of vision.
AWPer’s are usually players who monitor a certain area of the map and act as guards. They often sit at the base, checking for possible attacks from the enemy and warning the team of impending dangers.
Entry Fragger (CS:GO roles)
Entry Fragger is the player who first goes on the offensive, shooting enemies at close range and destroying the enemy in the first place. His job is to open up enemy defenses, destroy their structure and make it easier for the rest of the team to do their job.
The Entry Fragger must be fast and tough in combat, with good plotting and coordination skills. This player often causes numerical losses to the enemy, which allows the team to attack more successfully.
Lurker Role (CS:GO Roles)
Lurker is a player who serves as a tracker and lone-wolf hunter for the enemy team. He sits in a secluded place and controls the map, attracting the attention of the enemy to himself.
Judicious use of the Lurker can help the team humiliate defeat when attacked and act in a more coordinated manner. Lurker should be stealthy, cunning and able to act alone.
Support Player (CS:GO roles)
Support player is a player who successfully supports his partners. Also, strengthens the position on the map and provides the team with the necessary smokes, flashcards and grenades.
Support player is also engaged in the preparation of already prepared options to attack and helps his teammates in case of any difficulties in the match.
